Pamela G. Dorsett, Ph.D.

Pamela Dorsett, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of clinical experience. She works with clients from preschool age through adulthood and specializes in anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder and phobias; obsessive-compulsive disorder; body-focused repetitive behaviors, such as hair-pulling (trichotillomania) and skin-picking (excoriation); parenting; attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder and tic disorders.

 

Before joining Behavioral Institute of Atlanta, Dr. Dorsett held faculty positions in university and medical school settings and conducted research in the areas of social skills and parenting. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology with a specialization in behavior therapy from Georgia State University. Dr. Dorsett is a member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, the Georgia Psychological Association, the International Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation and the TLC Foundation for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors.

 

Dr. Dorsett and her husband married in 1980. They have two children.
