Tanya Oken, Ph.D.

Tanya Oken, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who works with children, teens, and young adults. She supports individuals with a wide range of mood, anxiety, and behavioral concerns, with a particular focus on understanding these challenges within the context of each person's unique experiences.

Dr. Oken is specialized as a health and pediatric psychologist and is specialized to work with issues that have a health-related component, such as eating and feeding challenges, body image concerns, sleep difficulties, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, health-related anxiety, adjustment to chronic illness, and adherence to medical treatments.

​

She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a Health Emphasis from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. Dr. Oken completed her Pre-Doctoral Residency and Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at Children’s Hospital of Orange County. She has extensive experience in hospital settings and contributing to research.
