Tanya Oken, Ph.D.

Tanya Oken, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who works with children, teens, and young adults. She brings highly specialized training in pediatric and health psychology, giving her a deep understanding of the mind-body connection and how development, traits, experiences, and the environment interact to shape behavior and emotions.

Dr. Oken takes a holistic approach, helping individuals and families address the underlying factors behind challenges such as anxiety, depression, OCD, aggression, or health-related concerns. Her work focuses on creating meaningful shifts—both internal and environmental—to support lasting change.

 

She also has expertise in health-related issues, including eating and feeding difficulties, body image, sleep, chronic illness, chronic pain, and health-related anxiety.

 

Dr. Oken earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a Health Emphasis from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and completed her pediatric psychology residency and postdoctoral fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Orange County.

 

She sees clients in-office and via telehealth, and is authorized through PSYPACT. To schedule, call (404) 256-9325. New clients should complete her consent form and the BIA intake form.
