Marianne Daniels Garber, Ph.D.

Dr. Marianne Daniels Garber is an Educational Consultant at the Behavioral Institute of Atlanta, LLC., where she specializes in the assessment of learning disorders and ADHD in children and adolescents and on parenting issues. 

Dr. Garber received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and her doctorate in reading and psycholinguistics from Georgia State University.  She is the co-author, with Dr. Stephen Garber and Robyn Freedman Spizman, of a number of books including, Good Behavior, Is Your Child Hyperactive?, Beyond Ritalin, and Monsters Under the Bed (Villard).  She also has written many books and materials for use with preschool and elementary age children on readiness and the environment (Good Apple Press).

For ten years Dr. Stephen and Marianne Garber co-authored with Robyn a nationally syndicated parenting column called Good Behavior.  Drs. Garber have been repeated guests on national morning shows such as the Today Show and Good Morning America and were the Parenting Experts on WXIA-TV, NBC TV affiliate for twelve years. Dr. Marianne Daniels Garber has authored articles and been cited in many public interest magazines including Newsweek, Parenting, Child, and Good Housekeeping.
