Kerri E. Woodward, Ph.D.

We are pleased to have Dr. Woodward joining the Behavioral Institute of Atlanta in September, 2020.

Kerri E. Woodward, Ph.D., is a pediatric psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and families coping with medical conditions. Dr. Woodward completed her undergraduate education at Emory University. She went on to complete her M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Dr. Woodward completed her Doctoral Internship in Pediatric Psychology and Neuropsychology at Duke University Medical Center, and is currently completing her Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Psychology through Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University. Dr. Woodward will provide outpatient services and will be credentialed as a psychologist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Dr. Woodward specializes in providing therapy for children and adolescents who are coping with medical conditions, brain injuries, chronic stress, and related emotional, behavioral, and developmental disorders. Her treatment approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, behavioral interventions, and biofeedback approaches. Dr. Woodward also enjoys conducting neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults with medical needs, particularly following concussions and head injuries.
